Identify official aeronautical cycles, weather interfaces and the limits of voluntary reports.
Product context
Project Star Hop's public resource collection connects its existing aeronautical, atmospheric and space-related research data. Aviation records, weather observations and geophysical event catalogs are different evidence types with different update cycles. The original publishers remain authoritative, and reference links do not imply that a proposed station or experimental sensing capability has already been built or validated.
Using these references
FAA NASR data is distributed through defined publication cycles; retain the effective dates relevant to a record. Aviation Weather Center interfaces expose specific weather products whose valid time and update behavior matter. OurAirports is a separate community dataset and should not silently replace an operational authority. ASRS reports provide voluntary safety narratives, with reporting and selection limitations. They are valuable research material but cannot be treated as a complete census of aviation events or used alone to estimate incident rates.
Evidence boundaries
These pages are for research and dataset discovery. They are not flight-planning instructions, an operational weather briefing, navigation data approval or evidence of an untested detection capability.
